Why HTMA?

During my time working as an RN, I dedicated myself to learning all about the latest medications, but I soon realized that many of them only provided temporary relief without addressing the underlying issues. While they could help patients feel better in the short term, the side effects many times were worse than the initial symptoms. Through my research I knew that our bodies possess a remarkable ability to heal when given the right support. This belief led me to discover Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), which has significantly transformed my approach to patient care.

HTMA, or Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, is a diagnostic tool pioneered by Dr. Paul Eck in the 1970s. As a biochemist, pathologist, and naprapathic physician, he analyzed the minerals in hair to provide a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s cellular mineral status. Unlike traditional blood tests, HTMA reveals hidden imbalances and nutrient deficiencies that may be contributing to health concerns. This is because it allows us to analyze the bodies mineral status at a cellular level.

What excites me most about HTMA is its capacity to identify potential health issues before they manifest as symptoms. This proactive approach aligns perfectly with my philosophy of supporting the body’s natural healing processes. By incorporating HTMA into my practice, I can develop personalized plans for my clients that address their specific needs. We can work together to correct mineral imbalances, enhance detoxification, and create nutrition strategies that nourish them at a cellular level.

However, HTMA is just one of the tools in my toolkit. With my background in various alternative health practices, I understand that each person's journey may involve exploring different treatments beyond HTMA. In my experience, the best outcomes come from integrating multiple health modalities to create a comprehensive approach tailored to each individual's needs. This approach allows for greatest success in reaching one's health goals.
