Why HTMA?

During his years working as an RN, Adriel dedicated himself to understanding the latest medications and treatment protocols. Over time, however, he recognized a significant limitation: while many medications offered short-term relief, they often failed to address the root causes of illness. In many cases, the side effects were more disruptive than the original symptoms. Through extensive research and clinical observation, Adriel grew increasingly aware that the body possesses an extraordinary ability to heal when given the proper support. This realization guided him toward exploring more foundational approaches to health and ultimately led him to Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), which has profoundly shaped his philosophy and practice.

HTMA, or Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, is a diagnostic tool developed by Dr. Paul Eck in the 1970s. Dr. Eck—an accomplished biochemist, pathologist, and naprapathic physician—pioneered the use of mineral analysis in hair to evaluate cellular mineral status. Unlike conventional blood tests, HTMA provides insights into long-term mineral patterns, hidden imbalances, and nutrient deficiencies that may be contributing to underlying health concerns. By evaluating the body’s mineral status at a cellular level, HTMA offers a deeper understanding of how internal systems are functioning.

What excites Adriel most about HTMA is its ability to detect potential health issues before they fully manifest as symptoms. This proactive approach aligns seamlessly with his commitment to supporting the body’s innate healing processes. By integrating HTMA into his practice, he is able to develop personalized, targeted wellness plans that address each client’s biochemical needs—correcting mineral imbalances, supporting detoxification, and creating nutrition strategies that nourish the body at its deepest level.

At the same time, Adriel views HTMA as just one of the many tools he uses to support whole-body healing. With a strong background in diverse alternative and integrative health practices, he recognizes that each individual’s journey is unique and may benefit from multiple therapeutic modalities. His belief—and experience—is that the most powerful and lasting results come from a comprehensive, integrated approach tailored to the specific needs of each person. This philosophy allows him to guide clients toward greater resilience, balance, and long-term wellness.
